Puget Sound Gymnastics has a long history of competitive gymnastics. We're in our 29th year now and still going strong. Our Rainbow team has won numerous Sectional, State, Regional and National titles through the years, but more important than winning awards is the building of strong, disciplined and confident kids.
Gymnastics is a great teacher. Sure it will get you strong and flexible kids but that's not all. Our girls also excel academically and most maintain very high GPA's. They will also be the first to take up musical instruments, join the drama club or go out for choir. Basically they're your classic over achievers! There's nothing wrong with that because by the time they've been at gymnastics for a few years they've learned how to manage their time, deal with pressure, work through adversity, overcome fears and become mature responsible young women.
As members of Puget Sound Gymnastics Rainbow team, they also get life experiences that come from traveling around the country or sometimes even to foreign countries like China. When the girls travel to compete or train they meet gymnasts that have different backgrounds yet share a common bond. Gymnastics is truly a universal sport in which hundreds of thousands of children around the world are participating. We're proud of our girls and want each one of them to shine in the spotlight.
